Thank you for your interest in the Built Environment Education Program (BEEP): Architecture by the Book!

The program is under development and will launch later this year with FREE downloadable lessons and inspiring presentations for classroom or community use. Please check in, as lessons will be uploaded as they are completed.

The program is made possible through the support and engagement of AIA firms across California and a generous grant from the AIA College of Fellows. CAF extends our heartfelt gratitude to all involved.

Example Lesson:

Each lesson is composed of a downloadable two-sided lesson / activity card, a PDF presentation (for viewing or printing) and a link to a list of local architects who can lead/assist with the lesson and bring the featured book.

Hosts and/or participants will want save and bring cleaned, recycled items they have on-hand and add cardboard, cardstock, aluminum foil, pipe cleaners, popsicle sticks, glue sticks, tape, yarn, paper, etc. for the building activity.

Add an architect to your lesson! A list of architects, sortable by region, is available here.
