Since 1991, CAF has cumulatively given $450,000.00 to deserving students through focused scholarship programs. In 2023, CAF bestowed scholarships totaling $50,000 to 19 students through the following programs:
Chester & Diana Widom Scholarship
Invests up to $5,000 in individual awards to community college students who have completed their studies and are transferring to accredited schools of architecture.
The Kain Scholarship
Supports architecture students interested in pursuing careers in the design and delivery of hospitals and healing environments with multiple $2,000 scholarships.
Paul W. Welch Jr. Scholarship
Champions completion of the Architect Registration Examination (ARE) by reimbursing candidates approximately $1,600 to cover the cost of passing each division of the Architect Registration Examination (ARE), the CA Supplemental Exam and fees to establish NCARB and CAB records.
